The RSS Monitor is used to periodically examine an RSS feed an generate a trigger when items in the feed have been added.

[edit] Settings

• URL (field): A URL to the RSS feed to be monitored.
• Update every: (slider): A slider used to determine how often the feed is checked for updates.
• Update At Startup: (checkbox): Check this box to indicate that this feed should be checked for updates as soon as Proxi is launched.
• Update Now: (button): Clicking this button will force the RSS Monitor to immediately check for new items.

• FeedDescription (text): A description of the RSS feed being monitored.
• FeedLink (URL): A link to the site served by the RSS feed.
• FeedTitle (Text): The title of the site served by the RSS feed.
• ItemDescription (text): A complete description of the RSS item. Typically an excerpt of the article being published, though possibly the complete text.
• ItemLink (URL): A link to the complete entry for the RSS item.
• ItemTitle (text): The title of the published item.
• ItemPublished (date): The date and time of the article's publication.
