[edit] Feature Request: Application Focus Trigger
This new trigger is a wonderful addition. I would find it most useful if there could also be an "Application Focused" and "Application in Background" monitor. (The one triggers when the app is brought to the front, and the other triggers when it moves from the frontmost app to a background app) Both appear in other Macro tools (iKey, Keyboard Maestro) and can be quite useful for selectively controlling background window visibility or other specific behaviors.
Personally, I would use such a thing to automatically hide Yojimbo when it's in the background, and also to hide the dock in certain applications that require lots of screen space, and then bring it back when those apps are no longer in the front. Nik
- I wanted to incorporate this behavior into the Application Monitor as well, but the only way I could figure to do it was to poll the active application from time to time. This wasn't a terribly attractive possibility, so I decided to release the app monitor as is and try and and figure some way to add these additional features in a later release. that was really a lot of words to say basically: "I agree and I'm trying to determine the best way to make that happen" :) --Somegeekintn 10:35, 15 October 2007 (CDT)
