The Hotkey Monitor allows the creation of a combination of keystrokes used to generate a trigger. A hotkey can be most any regular key, but must include at least one of the following modifier keys: control, option (alt), or command. The shift key modifier may also be used if desired.

- Hotkey (field): A description of the hotkey. If no hotkey is defined, this field will read "(not set)". While defining the hotkey, this field will read "Press desired key combo"
- Set (button): Clicking this button readies the Hotkey Monitor accept a new hotkey combo. While in this mode, press the key combination desired to fire this trigger. The Hotkey field will reflect your choice.
- Fallback (checkbox): Used to indicate that this is a fallback trigger.

- KeyCombo (text): A description of the hotkey.
- State (number): A number indicating whether a hotkey press or release caused the trigger to fire. Currently this is always 1.
