The Folder Monitor watches a particular folder on any local hard disk drive and triggers when items are added to and / or removed from this folder based on the settings you choose. Note: Folder Monitor is unable to monitor folders on remote volumes.
[edit] Settings
- Folder name (field): The path to the folder to be monitored. The Choose button can be used to select a folder from a standard file chooser dialog box.
- Trigger on additions (checkbox): Checking this box indicates a trigger should fire as items are added to this location.
- Trigger on removals (checkbox): Checking this box indicates a trigger should fire as items are removed from this location.

- Filename (text): The name of the file that was added to or removed from the monitored folder.
- Filepath (text): The complete path to the file that was added to or removed from the monitored folder.
- PathURL (URL): A URL to the to the file that was added to or removed from the monitored folder.
- WasAdded (number): A value indicating whether the file in question was added to or removed from the monitored folder. 1 indicates the file was added. 0 indicates the file was removed.
