The Clip to Play blueprint is used to generate, and begin playing, a playlist in iTunes based on the text (assumed to be the Artist's name) on the Clipboard. It is triggered by a Hotkey which can, of course, be altered to suit your tastes. The blueprint can also be modified to accept the artist's name from something other than the Clipboard (extra value). Just replace the Clipboard value in the AppleScript with whatever you like.
