[edit] Description

The AirClick trigger is used in conjunction with the a AirClick USB remote available from Griffin Technology. The AirClick remote has five buttons: Play / Pause, Next Track, Previous Track, Volume Up, and Volume Down each of which be configured to generate a trigger either individually or in combination with other buttons. This trigger can be configured to fire when the button is initially pressed or after the button is released. The amount of time the primary button is to be held (or released) before firing is also configurable.

  • Trigger when (popup menu): Use this menu to select the primary button that will cause the trigger to fire. The choices correspond to the buttons on the AirClick.
  • Repeat (checkbox): Select Repeat to indicate that the trigger should continue to fire repeatedly while the conditions defined here remains true.
  • Pressed / Released (radio buttons): Indicates whether the trigger will fire as the primary button is pressed or released.
  • ...for at least (slider): Use to select the minimum amount of time the button must be held (or released) before the trigger fires. The range is from 0 seconds (immediately) to 6 seconds.
  • ...and the following are also pressed (buttons): Indicate additional buttons that must be pressed before the trigger will fire. One of these will be disabled based on the selection of the primary button. Also, it should be noted that these buttons need to all be held prior to pressing the primary button. Pressing the primary button and followed by the modifier buttons will not result in the trigger firing.
  • Fallback (checkbox): Used to indicate that this is a fallback trigger.

  • ButtonID (number): A numeric identifier for the primary button. Values are:
    • 1 - Play / Pause
    • 2 - Volume Up
    • 4 - Volume Down
    • 8 - Next Track
    • 16 - Previous Track
  • ButtonName (text): The name of the primary button
  • Modifiers (number): The sum of the button identifiers. See ButtonID for possible values.
  • Delay (number): The amount of time (in seconds) the primary button has been in it's current state.
  • RepeatCount (number): The number of times a repeating trigger has fired.
